Magic Learning Carpet

The group carpet is one of the main focal points of our classroom. Its bright colors make it a welcoming place for reading a book, listening to a storyteller, having a group lesson, or receiving instructions from our teacher.

When I am at the Magic Carpet I am.....

	participating in many learning activities and mini lessons everyday.
	practicing new and acquired skills daily during "Morning Meeting."
	experiencing different types of literature during "Storytime."
	being creative as I tell my original stories during "Author's Chair."
	sharing with my classmates what I have to "Show and Tell."
	participating in decision making during "Class Meetings."
