Ports of Australia

     Sydney-----Melbourne-----Hobart

Pre-cruise: Sydney, Australia
 April 9-13, 2008

We arrived in Sydney for a four night stay before boarding the Sapphire
Princess on April 14, 2008.

Sydney had so much to offer, and we only scratched the surface of all
there is to see and do! We did manage to tour the city, go to a couple
of beaches, see a cabaret show on a showboat, and take a fabulous
tour to the Blue Mountains!

Maybe this collection of photos will give you a sneak peak into what all
"the land down under" has to offer------

I loved the koalas!

1st Port: Melbourne, Australia
April 16,2008

For our first port of call, we decided to take a ship's tour so we could
see the wildlife of Australia. During this tour we visited two wildlife
reserves in which we saw koalas, kangaroos, emus, birds native to
Australia, and very interesting eucalyptus forests.

We had a great day with the animals--check out our pictures from Melbourne!

2nd Port: Hobart, Tasmania
April 18, 2008

For our final port stop in Australia, we decided to take another ship's
tour and explore the area around the port of Hobart. We went
from being above the clouds on the top of Mt. Wellington to another
wildlife park making a couple of special stops along the way.
Join us now as we relive our day in Tasmania!
