On April 1, 2008, our next Coopers' Caper began when we started on
 our road trip to California. 

Since Jody had never been to the west coast, and I had only been once
as a child, we decided to drive to Los Angeles and fly from there to
Sydney, Australia, for our transpacific cruise that ends up back in
Los Angeles following a 30 day repositioning cruise. 

On our way to California, we followed the famous "Route 66" and enjoyed
the sights along the way. Once we arrived in southern California, we then
took the Pacific Coast highway and saw the beautiful seaside towns
from San Diego all the way to Los Angeles!
